Favorite part of the wedding ceremony

Our first kiss was so powerful that my veil ended up falling off! Another beautiful touch was right before we jumped the broom our Pastor shared with our guests what the broom represents from our culture and our marriage. It was really nice.

Our wedding songs

First Dance - Sweetest Love by Robin Thicke

Father/Daughter Dance - Unforgettable by Nat King Cole & Natalie Cole/Stuntin' Like My Daddy by Lil Wayne & Baby

Mother/son Dance - A Song For Mama by Boys 2 Men

Funniest reception moment

My dad and I first started dancing to 'Unforgettable' then broke out dancing to 'Stuntin' Like My Daddy.' Everyone was shocked and laughing and started dancing with us! Also, my mom was drinking from start to finish I'll never forget it she had 2 drinks at all times and even had shots with me and my sister. Henry's uncle passed out at the dinner table because he had so much to drink. We danced so much that I fell twice and Henry's pants and my dress ripped a little. It was a great night.

About the dress

My dress was amazing. It was a beautiful Ivory fitted mermaid gown by Essence of Australia gown that I got at Mira bridal Couture in Modesto.

Honeymoon destination?

We plan to take a honeymoon cruise.

Vendor shout-out!

Vicki Aguilar with Darling Photography did an AMAZING job with our pictures and working together with our DJ Tony Martin with Always and Forever DJ services. They were both so amazing and there's was non stop dancing because the music was so great and the room looked awesome from all the uplighting! Just amazing job!
